Anyone ever used it for throwing lures inshore? I bass fish a lot so I am pretty used to casting with baitcasters. I'm not sure if the bearings are fully sealed or if it's corrosion resistant, but was curious if any of you have any input on it. I would be using it on my yak for trout, puppy drum, and all the common inshore species. Thanks!

I am no expert but from the exploded Diagram it does not look sealed to me. No gasket or o-rings etc. Reel looks wicked though!

I have had one a couple of years now. Pretty nice reel. I hadn't used a bait caster reel that much before I purchased it. I also use it for reds and specks. Only have had a few back lashes with it. For me that's pretty good. Good luck if you go for it. Courage
