Hit the beach from 4am-9am with some good results. High tide was at 645 today. Once daylight hit blues and Spanish were jumping, tried throwing some metal but no joy. First fish was caught around 5am. Grand total 3 sting rays, 3 blues, 4 whiting, 1 yellowtail (I think that's what its called)...
Hit the surf around 430 pm till about 7pm. Tough conditions with a hard south wind and plenty of grass in the water. Water was a nice turquoise color and still a little chilly but blues were jumping close in. Threw some metal but no takers. Managed 2 stud whiting, both at 13" and thick. Wish...
Fished the beach at Sandbridge sunday from around 11-6...had a good mixed bag...couple flounder one about 16”, small trout, whiting, spot, and spanish throwing metal..flounder and trout on squid and gulp, spot on bloodworm fishbites...
Went out a couple hours before high tide today 1800-2015 - got two nice fat whiting about 12 inches each on sandfleas - also a short skinny trout also about 12 inches.
Ran into another angler using a tandem rig - and after seeing the first trout - thought why not? Tied on two 1/2 ounce jig heads...
