I've had these reels about 20 years. They are in perfect working order.
Some cosmetic boat rash. They will hold over 600 yds of 50 lb mono.
If you want a heavy boat rod to fish shark from the beach these should work for you.
The reels are lever drag and can be set from zero to lock down.
