I'm going to Sebastian the middle of January. If anyone will be fishing the inlet the 1/14-20, I could use some pointers. Fished there late Sept. There was a mullet run, too crowded and crazy then for me to learn much. Thanks
I fished the beach north of the jetty last March and we did well with pompano.
We fished right beside the commercial fisherman.
You need rods that can boom it way out. There is some sort of evil creature out there that steals your sand fleas in 2 minutes. You have to bait and rebait and rebait every 5 minutes.
I am a beach guy and not a pier jetty guy. I don't like the crowd.
There are some videos of a guy casting on the south beach and killing trout. I have never fished that beach.
You are from Ohio so if it is 50F you will think its warm and fun and there will not be any locals out fishing.
Watch the tides and keep fresh bait or throw a goofy jig and catch stuff in the surf.
