so i moved to florida and now it seems as though the fishing on sandbridge has stopped. i know the pier suffered some damage, but this time last year there were plenty of pups in the wash. i didn't even fish the pier last fall. has anyone walked the beach at low tide to find a good hole? i assume the storm and beach replenishment ruined last year's spots. but, just north of the pier in the park i caught lots of fish. in the evenings i just went in front of the house, 3500 block of sandpiper, and there were lots of pups there too. did everyone give up just because the pier was damaged? sandbridge has good fishing, at least this time last year, and for the next few months. maybe a good spot to escape some crowds and catch fish. wish i was around for striper season, but water in the upper 70's on the gulf is not too bad.
