Went to Sandbridge today from 1:00pm until 5:00pm a few roundheads I was told action was better in the morning, Blitz came thru a couple of times w/ taylor blues they caught about 10 to 12 each run then slowed, blues were smaller than last weeks, but did have the 2 to 3lbers. in the mix. Going back in the AM, early AM tommorrow, If anyone is going give me a post.

pompano question

Virginia

Where would I have the better chance to catch pompano? BBNWR, sandbridge, dam neck. If there is another place let me know. I just didnt figure va beach ocean a place they would be so I did not list it. I usally travel to NC for them but would like to target them locally. Thanks for any input.

On vacation in couple weeks, asking for a great beach spot to take my son, so we can do some surf fishing. Want to get out early , try to miss crowds. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Bite after the storm

Virginia

I would fish after hurricanes passed when I lived in South Carolina, and usually it was feast or famine. But more often then not, I would have pretty good luck. Is it the same for coastal Virginia? Looking to get out on the yak for a few hours later in the week.
