Saw a post where they said this pier was great for drum fishing.I have never fished it before although I knew it was there..Can anyone bring me up to date on what you catch,facilities.etc.,etc,. THX
Best pier I have ever been to for red drum has been the Garden City, SC pier about 10 miles south of Myrtle Beach. Pier is open 24/7 during the season with deep, live bottom and big drum. Maybe I just lucked out, but hooked into 3 large reds and landed 2 of them in 2 trips. These were within a week of each other and one was 45" and one was 46".
I may have to make a trip up to VA to fish for the reds with you guys this fall, and then come back down here to hook into them again.
The Rhondel, they catch a few off Little Island Pier. Some big hogs to 50" were decked there this past fall.
