Fished 7 to 11:30. Saw about 10 small bluefish & one spanish pulled in. Several small spot & perch. Pretty slow morning.

There was nobody in the pier box until about 9 so it was free today. The parking was also free today. At 9 they start charging to park.

I fished from 7-10 pm. I caught many small-mid size croaker, spot and sea perch. Blue Crabs were all over the shallow water. I did manage to real 2 nice size ones in, and steamed them for a late dinner. I caught them on squid, night crawlers (worked well to my suprise) and cut Spot.

The key this year at Sandbridge seems to bring your own bloodworms and fish off the South side of the pier. If they bloodworms in the machine they seem to be half dead.

Per the attendant at the Pier, bloodworms are in short supply due to a shortage of pickers in Mass, due to Blueberry season.

about the bloodworms, they are pretty much out of them up and down the east coast. talked to a tackleshop in NJ and they said about the blueberries as well as the water being too warm! who would of thought of that.
