Rented a house on the beach just a few hundred yards south of the Pocahontas shipwreck in the surf. (some claim it's the Richmond). We have high hopes of some active surf fishing. We have never gone quite this early. Worried about low temps and limited species to target. Anyone else ever have any luck around this time? Thanks y'all!

You'll be fine. Should be able to catch mullet, pompano, smaller blues and drum.
