I have been slaying the spot lately. I saw a few croakers caught today. got there just after low tide with a bunch of children in tow. I let them all catch some with my big pole. I was fishing the left side...throwing it out straight at the red and white bouy. In an hour and a half we caught five keepers lost about a dozen and let some little ones go...:p The kids had a great time!

Sounds like a good spot to take the kids and let them get hooked on fishing! Once they're hooked, they will enjoy it forever. :)

Nice report! Still haven't fished there everyone keeps saying it is too shallow and not worth it. I may have to try it this summer. Did you have to pay to get on pier?
