For pin rigging fighting rod. Ande has be recommended. Going to put a TLD 25 on it. Just looking to see any other options. I have a bunch of cabelas gift cards so I was wanting to see if they would have something that would work good.

I'm using an Ande this year too. ASU-601A SBMH. You can find them at Dicks for around $50. I always do the customer survey at the bottom of the receipts to get coupons for $10 off of $50 purchase, so they only cost me $40 or so. I'll text you one. They can scan it from your phone. (watch the expiration date tho).
For two years I used a 7' El cheapo $27 clearance rod from TWs. It actually worked great. landed 4 kings and a Cobia on it. I gave it to my brother for pin rigging Topsail. I think the Ande will do well.

A lot of guys also like The Sea Striker Billfisher rods in 6' 30-80lb
At cabelas check out the Penn Ally or Carnage II boat rods but I would stay away from anything with roller guides.

I picked up an Ande at Dicks as well, the 7' tournament series spinning rod. Think it was $44. Looks to be decent have gotten to use it yet. Very stiff.
