Me and my cousins are taking the kids on a weekend camping trip to roaring point camp grounds in a couple weeks I've never been but my cousins went wen they were kids was wondering on what will be bitting this time of year and what bait would be best? I've herd it's a good croaker and rockfish spot any help?

Yep you're right. That's getting close to AndyPat's backyard.

Not very close catman. I checked this morning. It is an hour away from Federalsburg. I sent them a e-mail and ask if I could pay to fish a few hours. That I don't camp over night, just want to fish a few hours. They haven't got back with me yet.

Andy, I drove by there before they were open this spring. My niece said they allow day use, or there is a county park right next to the campground that has access to the same water.
