a true legend. used to see him on JR all the time. one heck of a fisherman. he grew up in the age where u actually had to fish for decades and land 100s of fish to become an "expert"

I've spent many hours with him on the end of the JR. What I initially learned about pin rigging I learned from him many years ago. I can still picture him walking up the pier in that sort of bow legged walk he had carrying those two yellow heavers and a green plugging rod. That green pier cart he had, before there were the pier carts, we have today. I still hear him shout when he hooks up a king. "Run You Dog, Run!"
