NORTHERN COAST

CONDITIONS:. We had Southwesterly winds at 10 to 15 mph., with mist, drizzle and rain. The HI temperature as recorded at the Cape Hatteras School was an unseasonal warm 84.

Today's Forecast ... Mostly cloudy with showers likely and isolated thunderstorms. Highs 76 to 81. Breezy. Southwest winds 15 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 60 percent

OREGON INLET OFFSHORE: Some boats had limits of Tuna, in addition there were scattered catches King Mackerel, Shark and Dolphin.

HATTERAS OFFSHORE: Scattered to fair catches of King Mackerel.

HATTERAS INSHORE: Good catches of Speckled Trout with a few Gray's mixed in.



RODANTHE, SALVO AREA: Black Drum, nice Blues, Blowtoads, Flounder & Sea Mullet.

AVON AREA: Flounder, Blues, Blowtoads, a few Puppy Drum and Sand Perch.

THE POINT & BUXTON: About 10 big Drum in the morning and a half dozen this evening, Bluefish and Sea Mullet during the day.

SOUTH BEACH & FRISCO AREA: Blues and Sea Mullet.

HATTERAS BEACHES: No report.

OCRACOKE: Bluefish, Puppy Drum, Flounder, Sea Mullet, Croaker, Spot and Puffers from the beaches; citation sized Red Drum, Puppy Drum, Speckled & Gray Trout, Flounder and Bluefish from the sound.
