CONDITIONS:. We had another sunny day with Carolina Blue skies.. The winds were light and variable. The "Hatteras HI" as reported from Billy Mitchel airstrip was an unseasonal 64.

Today's Forecast ... Mostly cloudy with isolated showers...Then partly cloudy in the afternoon. Breezy. Highs 61 to 66. Southwest winds 15 to 20 mph...Becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of rain 20 percent.

OREGON INLET: Lots of Stripers caught by the inshore and near shore boats. Good Tuna Fishing in the blue water.

HATTERAS OFFSHORE: David Dodsworth from Niagara, Wisconson had an awesome day fishing aboard Tuna Duck with Capt.Dan Rooks.He hooked up with 7 big Bluefin Tuna, caught and released 3 of them. They measured 80 to 100 inches and weighed in at 350 to 550 lbs, one was caught on a spinning rod, all will be citations.

HATTERAS INSHORE: Lots of Stripers.

RODANTHE, SALVO AREA: About a half dozen Stripers.

AVON AREA: A Striper or two.

THE POINT & BUXTON: A few Stripers and some Dogfish at the point. A few Speckled Trout around the jetties.

SOUTH BEACH & FRISCO AREA: Nothing reported.

HATTERAS BEACHES: A few Puppy Drum and very few Speckled Trout, 1- 49 inch Red Drum.

OCRACOKE: No report.
