CONDITIONS:. We had partly cloudy skies with light and variable winds. The "Hatteras HI" as reported from Rodanthe was a seasonal 57.



Today's Forecast ... Occasional showers and a chance of thunderstorms. Very windy. Highs 62 to 67. Southwest winds 20 to 25 mph becoming west 20 to 30 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 100 percent





OREGON INLET: Yellowfin Tuna were caught offshore. Inshore and nearshore lots of nice size Stripers. Scattered Stripers off the beaches.

HATTERAS OFFSHORE: Nice catches of King Mackerel, Wahoo, and Yellowfin Tuna. Good Times came in with nice catch of bottom fish as well.

HATTERAS INSHORE: Excellent Striped Bass fishing. Most caught were in the 25-40lb. range.



RODANTHE, SALVO AREA: A few Stripers.

AVON AREA: A few Stripers.

THE POINT & BUXTON: A few Stripers and some Spiney Dogfish.

SOUTH BEACH & FRISCO AREA: A few Puppy Drum.

HATTERAS BEACHES: Some Puppy Drum, a few Speckled Trout, and around six Stripers.



OCRACOKE: Some scattered Speckled Trout and Stripers..
