CONDITIONS:. We had another sunny day with Carolina Blue skies.. The winds were NE at 5 to 10 mph. The "Hatteras HI" as reported from Billy Mitchel airstrip was a seasonal 50.



Today's Forecast ... Partly cloudy with isolated showers in the afternoon. Highs 59 to 64. Light winds...Becoming southwest 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.



OREGON INLET: Everyone's still returning with their limits of those beautiful ocean Stripers!

Great fishing; lots of Stripers on bait or lures from the beach ( Northside)

HATTERAS OFFSHORE: No report

HATTERAS INSHORE: No report.



RODANTHE, SALVO AREA: No report.

AVON AREA: Scattered Speckled Trout.

THE POINT & BUXTON: A few Stripers and some Dogfish.

SOUTH BEACH & FRISCO AREA: Nothing reported.

HATTERAS BEACHES: A few Stripers, Blowtoads, small Blues & Speckled Trout
OCRACOKE: About a half dozen Stripers reported

We will be away for the next 10 days, shopping for new items to add to the HI collection that you will see in the Hatteras Island shops in 2004. We hope that they don't catch all the Stripers before we return
