Heading to San Diego next week and going to go out on a party boat. Will be flying out so I won't be taking any gear. I can rent a Penn 500 for $17 or a 2 speed Avet for $20. Which should I go with? Thanks Josh

I would go with the Avet, hands-down, against a 500 Jigmaster . . .
