I have a Abu 7000 c3 that I am Going to strip down and service.
1)What is the best solvent to clean out the bearings,and how do you re- oil
2)The dragwashers: how should they be cleaned. Dothey need to be treated before they are put back?
3)Should Iuse a solvent and remove the old grease from therest of the parts and re-lube.
4)does white lithium grease work?

Lighter fuel is just fine for the bearings and wd40 to clean off the rest of the reel with a tooth brush to get the stick parts .
Carborator cleaner on the drag and then let them dry , reinstall dry and don't let any oil get in them .
I use marine grade grease for gears .
