While fishing at Gulf Shores, Al. Those guys talk of cutting out the throat of Red Drum, frying up, say it's good eats.

Anyone here ever heard of this or tried it?

Been eating big drum (when it was legal) small drum since I was 4or5 which makes it close to 60yrs now... Cheeks,belly meat,backbone,and the rest have done all of those,but throat?? That is a new one on me...
