"Most dismal of all time" was the only report I got from the north end Friday PM.

Is there anywhere to see the final detailed report of the catches/species/scores ?
Link ?
I can't find any info.
Or is that info best kept under wraps ?

Thanks

That DOES look like pretty good numbers .... considering.
I'm curious about the tourny rules and maps/layout of the site #'s.
Is that available to non club members ? If so, where ?
I wasn't aware of the tourny but sort of got caught up in it Fri PM at 23.
I don't see any of that sort of info on CHAC FB (not a member of FB)
Thanks

From 10" to 20"s its 1 point per inch .. over 20 inchs its 3 point per inch .... Example: a 25" slot Drum would be worth 25 pts .... a 13" Sea Mullet would be 3 pts .... the winners caught a big Drum over 40 ", a 40" Drum would bring 70 pts .....

"10" to 20"s its 1 point per inch"
Wouldn't that make the mullet 13 pts. ?

"over 20 inches its 3 point per inch"
wouldn't that make the slot Drum 75 pts. ?

and the40 incher 120 pts. ?

Thanks

There are 120 teams with 6 on each team, its a invitational tournament so most of the teams already have their members .... if you want to fish the tourny, theres a waiting list to get on a team if one is missing a member ..... The sections you fish are aprox. a 100 yds long and this year they started on ramp 23 with 20 stations, ramp 34 with 20 stations and ramp 38 with 20 stations and ramps 45, 48 and 49 with 60 stations ... the Captains of each team draw there stations by Computer on Wednesday afternoon. You MUST fish in your station and not allow current to carry your rig in someone elses station ... Thats about it ... fun tournament !

ARNAV .... The counting starts at 10" so 10" to 20" is 10 pts .... at twenty inches each inch counts 3 pts .... so a 25" blue would get 10 pt for the being 10 to 20 inches then the next 5" .... 20 to 25 would get him 3 pts for each inch equally 15 .... so a 25 inch fish is worth 25 pts .... The Blues weren't biting ...

OK, I think I got that part, for anything 10" and over. Cool.
How are smaller fish scored ?
Is it anything under 10" = 1 point per fish ?
How do they end up with :
1 fish for 1 point
2 fish for 3 points
4 fish for 5 points
and so on .....

Thanks River,
A

i too was in the tourney. i could show you the rules but not sure how to scan and post.
we finished 12th and took the last session with 53 points. if not for that session we were doing terrible with only a couple fish per session.
scoring is based on a ;legal size fish with 11" the smallest that scores. 11" to 20" is 1 point per inch. over 20" is 3 points per inch over 20" so a 23" fish would be 10 points to 20 and 9 points for the 3" over 20 so a 23 inch fish is 19 points.
hope this helps

Hi Matey !
Post 12 and 13 have the link to the rules and a clip.
I never got a comment on the apparent typo in the rules example.
Your example look right though, thanks !
Was an interesting tourny to watch, more so now that I know the rules.
12th out of 118 ain't bad ... Congrats !
Thanks again,
A
