I've been using spot, mulet, bunker and bluefish, been cutting it in to about 1"x 2" chunks. I'm fishing for cobia and drum( 8 & bait fish finder rig with an 8/0 hook) What do ya'll recommend for cut bait and how big of a pice should I be using ?

I'm interested in the answers. I use more of a 2x2" chunk and my FF rig is almost a cannon ball rig (2" snood) but I also use 8/0 or 7/0 (circle) hooks. Would like to see if anyone knows anything better to try.

How's that 2x2 chunk work for you. I was thinking my bait was to small

Bunker heads are the bomb for most large fish.

heads /bunker/bluefish/roundhead/spot preferably fresh, last year when the bunker schools were tight and in snagging distance I was throwing (more like lobbing) 3/4 of a bunker out there in hopes a cobia would find it...
