Where exactly is the JRB pier located? I've driven over the bridge only once and did not see the pier. Again, do not laugh at me.

It is on the north end,right beside the present bridge.It used to be the old jrb.

I'll laugh with you, not at you. First time I tried to find it I went over the MMBT and began to believe JRB Pier=hoax. Looked at a map and sure enough there was the JRB further upriver. Funny stuff. Worked out to be a good spot the other night. I like the fish cleaning stations too.

I do not know about what is biting when but you should be able to get some croakers there if nothing else.

To get to the JRB pier. Take I-64 to the Mercury Blvd exit. Coming from Richmond take the first exit which should take you south on Mercury Blvd. Follow Mercury Blvd for about 3 to 5 miles. You will go over an overpass over some rail road tracks and Warwick Blvd. Turn right just after AFTER the overpass at the traffic light. The signs will say Huntington Park. It is the last exit before the JRB. Parking for the pier is the first left. There is a really nice boat ramp at the thrid left.
