Stocked about 3 weeks ago with rainbows and Browns.
The Lake is not stocked, trout are put in below the spillway and spread out downstream.

Was just there couple days ago. Found a beautiful pool down stream, then there they were.....a family of River Otter. Beaver too, but they don't eat fish.
I'm sure the otter feasted on those stockies. Not even a bite on mepps spinners and a 4# ultra lite outfit.

Went back up to the lake and fished largemouth throwing crankbaits....got 1 @ 15''.

I don't think that I have ever gotten tired of catching fish even when it was catching 100 plus micro dink yellow perch or buckets full of white perch. Lets face it, I just like to catch fish. When matched with the right tackle, even small fish are fun. Often the challenge of getting them to hit an artificial presentation is as much fun as the fight. Guess I am still just a kid at heart and I hope that never changes!

Good for you Jerry. I guess I shouldn't have said getting tired of catching crappie. I should of said, I would like to catch something different. I will never get tired of fishing. Might get too old for fishing some day. Sure is getting cold, and I am still fishing every day.
