anyone have this rod? can a mortal load it with 4 and small bait? I know the 13'3-6 is ideal, but I'm considering 12'8 for pompano and whiting at distance and like having upside for heavier weights

Hi TB. I have this rod and love it. Mostly throw 5oz. and a small chunk for striped bass. According to Tommy its the same blank as the 13' 3-6oz. with 4 inches off the tip. Never fixed it with 4 oz., but it does a great job with 5 and 6. Sure you'll have no problem with 4. Sam
