I guess it is good to post days when the fishing is not so good. The water was dead calm. I mean flat with not a ripple. I never liked that. I always do better with a little breeze and a little chop on the water. I did catch five crappie, but it took me two hours to catch them. My fishing calendar says poor fishing today. I might try to prove them wrong and go fishing anyway. Might walk the river and try to catch a few bass with my purple worm.

A bad day for you is a good day for many. I know what you mean by " flat with not a ripple". My confidence level really drops when I see that. I'd much prefer it to be overcast, a light breeze and a slight ripple. Eye Of The Tiger
