Got stuck with the girls again this am, causeway was catching some decent croaker and a few skate. Was there 10:30 am to 12:30pm before the girls had enough of the humidity. Will return this evening or maybe hit somewhere else.

I've gone a few times during the day and had much luck. I've seen others catching decent sized Bluefish by the lighthouse.

Did not make it back out last night so I got up at 5am and hit it this morning until 10am. Fished down past the pier about 200 yrds. from the lighthouse on the bayside. Caught 6 whiting/kingfish 9"-12". Guy fishing the beach had a few more. The rays were finning about 300 yards out for a while. Threw a few spoons and tried top water plugs while soaking FBBW. No takers.

I got down there about 8pm last night it was packed only stayed about two hours and left. Prolly the most people I've seen down there in a long time. Pier was elbow to elbow so I didn't even try

Hueski, you should be ok next weekend. Saturday there was no parking except at the causeway, which is the only reason I fished there. When I went earlier this morning the crowd was much thinner. Even when I left around 10 am the was plenty of parking at the lighthouse, pier and only 3 cars on the causeway. Saturday, I guess is just packed. I do not get to visit my old stomping grounds too much any more so I have no idea if the park is always as full as it was Saturday.
