I was there Sunday afternoon. It was not crowded at all. I fished the pier a couple of hours then moved to the sandy areas. No luck but saw some schools of baitfish along the shores. Great to be out there though.

What were you using for bait? I skunked last night too at Matapeake. Fished from 9:30pm - 2am. Several small hits with alewife and bloodworms, but no fish. I was thinking about making a trip to PLO, but good thing I didn't drive the extra distance. Thanks for the report!

May have been a bad day for night fishing on the bay piers.
