Hit the beach round noon today, low tide was 2:30pm, and fished till 6:30pm. Nothing real stellar to brag about :( , but did catch lots of Whiting, some even descent size, around 13-14 inches, didn't catch any biggins. Seemed to be lots of 14-16" blacktips too. Also caught a few catfish and croakers. Had Whiting out for big shark most of the day to no avail, they must be hanging elsewhere. I saw a few nice Tarpon rolling out beyond my casting range, they was probably laughing at me, but there in trouble when I learn some long range casting! As always was a very nice afternoon on the beach.

Sounds like you did better than me, Beachbms. I fished Apollo #1 from 9:30 - 12:00 and only caught two small sharks. Looked to me like only the SURFERS were catching a lot. Caught a bunch of catfish on the lagoon side, as usual. At least it didn't rain much. And the threat of rain made for a nice uncrowded day at the beach....
