Got down from Richmond at about 7am few small spades around the pylons on a sabiki with shrimp. Guys in the end said few blues and spanish over the rail at sunrise. Bite was otherwise slow with no takers on a 2 drop with fbsquid. Was about to leave and a huge bait pod showed up right behind the break with a school of blues on the ocean side if of them. Caught six in about 15 before they passed. Slowed down after that with a few sporadic blues and undersized spanish after that. Left about 2. Decent day, can't complain. I would upload a pic but it's been forever since I've been on here and I forget how.

About the size of those thousands of menhaden hanging out/interrupting the fishing.

I saw a few medium sized ones in somebody's cooler but didn't witness any come over the rail myself.
