Is it best to fish a pier on an incoming tide...two hours before and two hours after only ? Or is it better to fish at dawn or dusk on any tide outgoing or incoming. I'm looking for the most productive times fishing with live shrimp.

Thanks for your help :D

Well everyone has there own preferences. But for shrimp i like right when it starts getting dark. I dont know why but i have always caught more fish. As for tide it depends on the fish but either way is fine as long as its moving.

I lot of your questions depend on where you are fishing. Inlet, open ocean, etc. Some places shrimp is not good where most places it is great. It can also change with the season and fish that are in the area. I would guess you are SC or South. Dusk and Dawn are always good.
