How far up the Patuxent and Potomac river do the Yellow and White perch go during their run? Not looking for specific spots but just a question to how far north. Thanks in advance.

I would like to help you, but I know nothing about the Western Shore Rivers. I live on the Eastern Shore. I'm sure someone will give you some good Info.

Thanks guys. Might have take my rods to work next week and give her a try on my way home. The drive along Canal Roads got me me thinking maybe give her a try at Fletcher's or little further north but really haven't heard anyone talking about Perch at those locations. Only reports seem to come when the Shad are running. This weekend, I was planning on a trip on the Pax somewhere between 450 and Bowie but wasn't sure they made it up that far. Once again, thanks for the info.

You are right they do make it up to Bowie. But be aware the Dnr is always there checking.

I was wondering. I've seen cars parked by the bridge around this time of year. Does the tide come up that far up? Thanks.

No the tide does not go that far up, they claim after hills bridge its no longer tidal.
