I have seen many Penn surfmaster reels but never seen the rod or heard of them. Tried googling and researching them with no luck.it's a 10 ft graphite rod 2piece 2-6 oz,spinning

Where these rods rare or just so bad they never made around on the internet. Or to, expensive no one bought them? Looks decent.

Just confused cause the Penn surfmaster was conventional and this is a spinning rod which makes me believe it wasn't a combo setup from the tackle store and someone bought just the rod to pair to a spining rod.


Any old timers can help?

Found out in the UK , 2000ish.Penn had a spinning surfmaster, think long cast spool . so guessing you could get as a combo from the UK market only.that's probably why I can't find anything on the rod.
