Which of the rods are you thinking about, And 1/2 you can't go wrong with 1/2 off anyway.
The 10' med moderate 1-4 oz for slinging 1 to 2 oz metal for spanish. MODEL # CARSFII1530C10. Says it's designed to be used with braid but I like mono in the surf.
Go for it , I have a 8' previous model that I use in the suds for that lots of fun.
