Just got a half bushel of oysters. I shucked them and found several pea crabs. Anyone ever eat them? I hear they they taste good raw and fried. Never had them. Anyone?

Perfect. Thanks, fellas. A couple were deceased, but I might eat them anyway. I need all the good luck I can get after breaking off a drum in the wash off ramp 72 on Tuesday. Cinco de Mayo is Wednesday, so I‘ll eat a mezcal worm, too.

Kessler, my friend. Thank you so much. I am afraid we like our oysters raw on the half shell. However, maybe we could steam the pea crabs separately? I dunno. I will give it a try, unless you have a better idea? I am a pea crab virgin, so to speak. Ha ha. I guess you could call me a virgin with crabs.

Ha! Oh no my friend Rouge,I like my oysters right off the tong, especially from Feb/May and pea cabs are a delicious orange bonus,,But my Gulf Coast cajun queen likes her oysters steamed hard so..we compromise.
