Fished the falling afternoon tide with nice conditions. Fished shrimp in trough. Ok action but mostly small stuff killing the baits as soon as they hit. Finished with a mix of spot , small pompano, whiting ,12" blues ,and some short black drum. Best fish was a slob bull whiting 16" and 1.7 lbs. Like to find a pile like that one.

A 16" whiting is definitely a good one! Sounds like you had a pretty good day with all the other bites (kept it interesting), thanks for your report!!

I've had little to no luck fishing Pawley's that past week and a half. Caught maybe half a dozen blues/snappers. Guess i got to up my game.
