I've got some old Daiwa reels that all seem to be losing their pinion gears, one after another. A pair of old SM-2A bass baitcasters, then an old Sealine 30SH, and now an old Sealine Magforce SMF-170H (a very neat, adjustable-magged 300yd/20lb class, aluminum framed reel from the '80s!). I can't get these pinion gears from Daiwa, Mike's, or Southwestern Parts, so I was wondering if anyone here knew of any other sources, or even Penn parts that would fit. P.S--if anyone from Accurate or any other stainless pinion gear producing company is reading this, the brass pinion gear is the only foreseeable shortfall of these reels and production of one would make you a lot of money--just look at how many old Daiwa Sealines are on eBay.

Try here: http://anglerspartscan.com/catalog/

and if he doesn't have it, email and he'll try to get it.

Also check here: http://www.kelsrodreel.com/default.aspx

Or here: http://www.rodnreeldepot.com/

If you email/contact these guys, they can at least look out for your parts if they don't have them in stock. Good luck!
