Hi Eugene,

Check out this map:

http://www.brevardparks.com/maps/mp_brev.htm

There are some some links at the top of that page to download the map in .pdf so you can enlarge/zoom in if the text is too small for you to read well.

Taken from the same website and this forum:

Coconut Point Park:

3535 Highway A1A, Melbourne Beach Located 5.5 miles south of U.S. Hwy 192, this 36.9-acre community beach park and sea turtle nesting site preserves the natural environment. Popular for surfing, beachcombing and fishing, the park amenities include a small pavilion, restrooms, and an outside shower. One of the 2 dune crossovers is wheelchair accessible.

Shark Pit? (assuming this is where you meant instead of Snake Pit):

"...just after Coconut Point Park after you go past publix 1/4 mile look on the beach side for parking spots don't go back into the sand unless you have 4WD."

Bonsteel Park:

8455 Highway A1A, Melbourne Beach Popular for surfing and shoreline fishing, this peaceful 2.34-acre community beach park is located 15-miles south of U.S. Hwy 192. Preserving the natural environment, facilities at this quiet south beach include a stabilized parking area and dune crossover.
