I'm cleaning up and servicing a good Diawa 4000 to give to a buddy for christmas (He's lucky, most people get homebaked cookies in '08 from us, lean year . It could use some paint in a couple of places. Any recommendations on paint? Testers enamel?

Upon further web searching it looks like auto touch up paint is recommended by Orvis for their saltwater stuff. Guess I'll try it.

I got two of those 4000's myself. Bullet proof - like a timex!! The auto paint sounds like a good bet. Might have to try that myself.
