I use a Igloo cooler with the storage with lid on the top. Drilled a hole from storage area and run a 1/4 clear tube through the top into the cooler with an air stone attached. I use double sided tape to hold the battery operator bubble box in the top storage. Lid protects from elements. Just make sure when your not using it you don't leave the battery in the air pump because the battery will get rusted and ruin the air pump.

It's an Ice Cube. I've had it for years but they still make one that has a bigger storage on top. I either got mine at Bass Pro or Walmart. It does good and the bubble box last along time on one battery. I have two that I use on my beach cart. One for bait and one for drinks and food.

I looked on the IGLOO website . . . The "Ice Cube Series" has several different models . . . Looks like the 48 Qt. or "14 Can" model one to me, but can't tell from the pics.

Years ago when I was setting up my first aquarium I was told by a fish store owner that air stones do not add oxygen to the water they merely break up the surface tension. When the surface tension is broken you get the beneficial action of "out with the bad air in with the good".
My point is any bubbler and keeping water cool should solve most issues.

Well I'm no expert on air stones or aquariums but I do know that I've kept bait alive along time with the air stone. My wife use to catch her own salt water aquarium fish and would keep them alive for days with a similar setup however she would do daily water changes. I think keeping bait alive for extended amounts of time would need daily water changes. I agree any setup that breaks up the water tension and keeping water cool is right on track.
