Hey guys like the title says, I will be visiting obx towards the end of June and will be doing some surf fishing and most definitely shark fishing. Was wondering if there is anyone in the area that would be willing to give/sell me some fresh or frozen fish. I will take anything including rays. Or even if you know someone you could put me in contact with would be such a great help. I hate to rely on only the legal fish I catch for bait and begging from the charters can be a pain as well, and annoying to some of them. I would appreciate any insight! Thanks Jake

Go down to Oregon Inlet and see Paul or one of the guys about a tuna or alby head. They are good guys and will help you out! It doesn't hurt to give them a tip also. The morning is the best time at around 10 am.
Also, you could go out on the pier [obx] pier and catch you a ray or skate to use for a bait. I've caught sharks on them when a tuna wasn't to be had.
Good Luck and keep on Sharking!

Be at the docks a little before 4pm.. When the charters start coming in go to the fish cleaner guy on the porch I can't remember his name, and ask him for a tuna head or whatever slide him a ten or a twenty spot. Wrap them in plastic bags and pack on ice and they will keep just fine for a few days.
Or go to oneals fish house and ask . If he has one in the fish cleaning barrel he might let you have it if you slide him a nice tip like a ten or twenty ..
