Caught a pretty good snakehead with a purple worm fishing for bass. Them snakehead are pretty wild. Gave me a hard time landing it. I hope I can catch more of them. Fight much harder then bass. That is the second one in about a week. Stay tuned bass fisherman. I am fishing the Marshy Hope from shore. OH, I also caught a bass.Click image for larger version.

Andy what type and size line do you use when targeting crappies ???

6# Mono line. I catch most crappie on a little 1/16th jig. I can't cast far with this light jig, but where I fish I don't have to cast far. Only about 15 20 Ft. close to wood, or lilypads. I like the slow drop of the light jig.

It's hard to believe those things are that big in say...a decade. No wonder they can't be returned to the water.
