Any info on this reel for a guy who gets 1 to weeks a year on the sand?

My bps reels are shot, looking for something decent to mount to my heavers without breaking the bank for a 1 week a year surf fisherman. I have a smaller okuma on my penn 8' that I really l like for throwing spoons and light tackle and it seems to be holding up well over the past few years. Curious about this for 17-20 lb. Line for soaking larger bait on 9 and 10' surf rods. The amazon price of $69 is tough to beat.

I've had an Okuma 6500 baitrunner that I have used, abused, dropped in the sand and in the surf more times than I can count.

With proper maintenance it's still smooth as silk.

I have older and just bought a new 65 this year I like the changes to the new 65 bait feeder. I like them both never had an issue with them. The 90 must be a monster the 65 is fine for me.

Im afraid that the 90 is too big myself.

I have a 65. It's about 4 years old and has held up okay. It's a bit big,and with fishing circles now I don't really use the bait runner. Penn Fierce in 6000 is easier to work on and holds up. My main bait reel now.

Thanks guys. My okuma 55 has held up well and at $59, the 65 was an easy pick. I'll test it out in carova this September. Hopefully on a few nice sized drum.
