I caught this YP on Wednesday on the Patuxent River. Look what came out of it's stomach when I was cleaning it! A lamprey!!! That perch is almost 12' and the lamprey is about 6". I didn't know that they ate lampreys. Anyone else had this experience?

crappie410 - i grew up in Upper Marlboro. We used to occasionally catch them in a few creeks in the area, while netting bait fish.

Don't eels spawn up in freshwater creeks?
I have caught eels as big as my arm below Waysons.
