I was looking for a little advice on what to expect at the beginning of November on NC's South facing beaches. What are people catching down there in November out of the surf and what kinds of bait are the best.

I'm going down for about a week with no other plans than to relax and do some fishing, so any advice or thoughts anyone wants to throw out there would be much appreciated.

A nice way to spend a morning is the walk the beach with a trout rod and soft plastics and fish the deeper water for Trout, Puppy drum and Stripers. If you find a spot that is holding fish it can be very good that time of year.

PS On a south facing beach a light SE or S breeze is best.
