Not a complete bust.

Went out yesterday for about an hour and a half with the intention of catching some perch. They were biting, but they all seemed to be on the small side. I managed to jig up one decent sized one using a tube jig, but then they quit biting. I switched over to a beetle spin to see what else was in the area and ended up with a nice little surprise (see photo below). It was my first ever red drum (locally) and gave me one hell of a fight on the 5' 6" light combo I was using for the perch. Released without issue.
