Going to be down starting next Thursday thru Sunday for my daughters traveling softball tourney.. Will not be doing any surf fishing this time, so I am going to the pier(s) a few days.. What is the pier conditions like for Apache and others.. I know Spring Maid and them were pretty much destroyed. Anyone have any updates from the piers that are still open?? ANYONE CATCHING ANYTHING??

Apache opened back up on Saturday and the red drum bite was on according to their Facebook with some blacks, blues, and spots. Cherry Grove has 500 feet open right now awaiting repairs to the end, and reported about the same.

We were considering going to Apache but decided not to because the weather was so nice and the recent storm damage. Looks like we missed some good drum action. There I was just walking distance away! What were the reds biting?
