I tried casting a Chug Bug surface lure, then a Rattle Trap for rock. No rock casting for about an Hr. so I switched to perch fishing with the lure in picture. Can't miss with perch right now in shallow water.

I was fishing from shore on the Tred Avon River in Oxford.

I know that guys that pitch artificials don't always go for it, but peeler was the hot lick this weekend.
I did catch a couple on a bucktail (only 1 keeper), but when we just bottom fished, it was on.

Don't know if the weather events have changed things since then...

Did you catch the rock casting way out, or close in near the rock along shore? I don't know for sure, but there is so many perch where I am fishing they might eat the peeler before the rock can get to it. I should give it a try. Thanks!
