Newbie here, noticed there seems to be a lot of fishing knowledge here, hope it will help my fishing. I have limited surf fishing skills. Thanks in advance for all advice.

General inshore fishing is wide open topic- there are some basic skills necessary to begin- like the basic gear, accessories and learning knot tying for fishing lines...for a newbie, I would recommend an all-around do-anything spinning outfit in the 2500-4500 size with a 7' or 8' medium rod with 10-15# braid or mono line...pretty basic- but you gotta crawl before you walk...
