Good deal I was out crappie fishing on Sunday up here in PA . Hooked about 5lb carp on 1 of Jerry's shad darts. Faught him for like 20min . Thought I had him tired so I grabbed the line and was gonna try to grab him by the gills cuz no net when I crappie fish. Carp had more energy turned and broke me off. Man I wanted that picture. Arms were tired after that work out

Looks like lots of action there. I quite frequently hook up with carp while fishing for perch.

One time I was fishing for perch and hooked up a huge carp. I finally got him on shore after about a 20 minute battle. Several people had gathered around to watch the fight and as he was flopping around on shore, the dart flew out and hooked into one of the by standers' dog. I yelled for him to grab the dog because I didn't want to have to fight it like the fish. He was able to grab it and we got the hook out with no serious damage. I would have hated to have to admit being spooled by a German Shepard! I gave the fish to one of the bystanders and they brought me back a photo of it. I will have to see if I can find the photo because I think they also weighed it.

Good to see the darts work but too bad you lost the fish and the dart.

Edit: Surprisingly, I found the picture but it is too blurry to be able to scan. Note on it says 32 inches, 21+ pounds, March 1981
